When your pool water is low in total alkalinity ( below 80 ppm), you can face issues such as chlorine inefficiency, pool staining, and metal corrosion. If your pool water is highly alkaline (above 120 ppm), you will face problems, including a clogged filter, cloudy water, rough surfaces, and reduced circulation. We test the levels of alkalinity first and then take appropriate action.
The health of your pool's equipment, including pump, heater, and other systems, as well as the health and safety of your eyes, nasal passages, skin, and hair, depends on the pH level. We test and adjust pH to the ideal range (7.2–7.6) to protect both swimmers and equipment.
The ideal levels of calcium hardness should range from 200-400 ppm; levels beyond or less than that can lead to erosion and damage to the pool surface and equipment. We perform a drop-count titration before adjusting calcium hardness.
